Divine Retribution

The latest chaos at the Terminal 5 must surely be some form of divine retribution from above . The £4.3 billion hub was bad idea from the onset and is a warning to us all that the global expansion is not the way forward. The government must not be conned by big business that we need more flights in order to compete globally . Cut down on all unnecessary travel and invest more in public services - education -policing - public travel.

Ii was also announced by the government that taxpayers with have to hand over an extra £800 million to Brussels this year. This is in addition to the £16.3 billion that Britain has already agreed to contribute to the European coffers over the next three years.

It costs the British taxpayer more than £1,700,000 an hour in up-front payments to belong to the European Union – making it one of the mostly costly and wasteful clubs in the world.

Passengers in Danger at Heathrow Airport

Tne latest alarming news was released today by an ex employee of the Air Traffic
Controllers union known as NATS , that there have been several near misses while planes have been waiting to land at Heathrow.

In order to compete with global expansion , BAA and the government insist on this crazy idea of expanding Heathrow .If they are really serious about reducing carbon emissions and concerned about passenger safety , then why are they forcing us into having another runway and more flights ?

NATS Heathrow safely handled 477,000 flights in 2006.This is a truly alarming statistic and it is only when the day comes when a major catastrophe occurs, that BAA and the government will have a rethink .

Act now and join the protest against any further expansion at Heathrow !

Terminally ill !

The new Heathrow, Terminal 5 building …….

A comment from your friends at Chess Interiors

This wonderfully eco-friendly building, pretends to be a shrine to the green movement but is in fact nothing but a massive polluter of the earth’s atmosphere .

Don’t be fooled! We are informed that all the rainwater is collected and recycled and heat pumps are helping to reduce carbon emissions .

The reality is,that by allowing the expansion at Heathrow , this scientifically illiterate government has cooperated with BAA to produce a net increase of CO2 emissions unparalleled in recent history.
